He has gone against Lerner and the club by airing his grievences in public his position is untenable i would imagine the hold up is getting in a replacement.
He should resign and claim constructive dismissal if he has any pride.

Strangely I thought today he would go too. With the deafening silence from the club I thought he was done by fight on

I think the next time they address it will be when he is gone. Not much to say in between really. If they wanted to support him they would have done. The in itself is telling.

Posted elsewhere, but a damning assessment of Sherwood made before he joined us.
And spookily accurate.

We can't until he is gone and someone who actually knows what they are doing is in charge.

He will go at the next break IMO. Will give us 10 days or so to handover. I don't want a cheap and cheerful bloke who is available please. Get us someone who is successful and already at a club. Not Tiny Penis though. He's a ******.

I'm of the opinion that the board won't go once again go down that route of selecting a piss poor, inexperienced, learning as he goes along manager. Whoever comes in has to be the smartest possible choice out there. There's going to be millions to spend next summer due to the new TV deal, I can see the board advancing a chunk in January should the manager require. Salary, spending power, won't be the issue. Convincing them that we're serious and deserve their talents to actually build something is the biggest hurdle we'll face.

Right now, with the shit storm Sherwood has created, we don't look anything other than a club fighting to stay up. We're far more than that and I'm hoping Fox can convince them, whoever they might be.

That is one hell of a piece of foresight. That could been written today from someone within the club at close hand, not back in February.

It's hardly foresight.

It's it a list of all the things that he did wrong at Spurs. Which were likely to happen with us, because he'd done them all wrong when he was at Spurs.

It's it a list of all the things that he did wrong at Spurs. Which were pretty evident from when he did them all wrong with Spurs.
I must admit I didn't really pay that much attention to the ongoings at Spurs at the time.
I knew he was not the most popular of choices on this site when we appointed him, but I didn't really know why other than a lack of experience and him being a bit of a cocky so and so.

It's worrying that if it is common knowledge about him leaking things to the press and what he did with AVB why we went anywhere near him, or WBA for that matter.

Where does self-confidence end and arrogance start. If you want to develop a career many people will take on a mentor. With football managers it is usually an older or retired manager. This usually leads to poor qualities being eradicated.

We seem to be seeing the same now as when he was at Spurs. Either he is not learning, not getting and taking on board advice or he does not give a f*** what other people think or say.

It was common knowledge - that exact article and many others like it were posted on here at the time he was hired. And yes, it's worrying (and still completely bewildering) that we even went near him, let alone made him the only choice for the job.

The mood on here at the time was a bit like those Sunderland fans that we laughed at because they thought they were getting something new and exciting with Martin O'Neill and ignored all the things that they were told about how limited he actually was.

They clearly knew better than we all did, just like we knew better than all those silly, entitled Spurs fans.

I'm angry he hasn't been sacked to be honest. Does Tom Fox realise 3 points are at stake on Saturday? With Sherwood in charge, I can't see us getting any.

Its certainly a character assassination but is a little short on specifics about his technical shortcomings; which we now know about.
