These players have had it too easy for too long, being protected by a very generous manager. Sherwood ain't that guy, stick it to this bunch and get them performing at an appropriate level.I don't mind the appointment at all. Best of luck Tim.Spot on! I believe that this will be a very good appointment - no experienced manager would guarantee success, here we have a hungry young manager who will kick a few backsides and if he can get somebody like Adebayor to perform then maybe he can get Gabby and Benteke to perform as well. He won't take any shit from the players. He was also responsible for bringing along the likes of Harry Kane at Spurs - maybe he'll sign him in the summer!!I was right - as usual! Harry Kane in the summer then

Sorry Sam don't buy that at all. His communication wasn't a problem at all because the team followed his instructions onto the pitch. They didn't play that because they were confused. And there have been plenty of successful managers with strong accents. Dalglish and Ferguson or Benitez as examples are hardly as clear as crystal when they speak yet they have been hugely successful over their careers. Lambert's problem is Lambert and what he became. Nothing to do with his supposed mumbling.
Those who ridiculed Lambert for 'mumbling' occasionally took some stick, but to me it was absolutely germane to his abilities as a manager. The main requirement is an ability to communicate, and I'm convinced that many of the players would have had difficulty understanding Lambert. Particularly those for whom English was not their first language.Sherwood is articulate and expansive, and I don't think it's any coincidence that the players suddenly look like they know what they're meant to be doing, both individually and collectively.
Some of the stuff yesterday, especially down the left side between Delph, Grealish and Benteke was fantastic. If it had been a Spanish team everyone would be wanking themselves crazy about the verve and technique.

Harry Kane in the summer then Believe it or not, having read the Bitter forums this morning, the Baggies fans are convinced that had they got Sherwood instead of Irvine then Kane would have been a West Brom player this season...and they have the audacity to call us deluded?!
Hi Jonny I would love to sing my song at half time at Villa Park on Saturday against Swansea and Wembley. ,Do you know anyone?
