Shambolic really. The season highlight could well be the fact we Didn't sign Ricky Lambert.

Lambert is a clever player best suited to dropping off the front man like Robbie Keane. His legs look shot at Liverpool but like Keane he is completely unsuited to their style of play. Would have done a good job for us for 12-18 months. He should have been the type of player we went for a couple of summers back when we instead got in the likes of Kozak and Helenius.

Again who knows what might have been if not for illness followed by depression.
He was great against Hull.
Quote from: adrenachrome on March 01, 2015, 10:48:40 PMI am more than a little surprised that the last day bid for Ricky Lambert has merited so little discussion. An astonishing episode if you ask me. According to Tom Fox we'd been after him for weeks but it was only late on that Liverpool agreed to sell him.
