I think he'll send out a team to win the game. He has to. Anything conservative and we'll get what we deserve.

We?  what about him?

because in all likelihood he won't.

MATCH FACTS

Head-to-head
Aston Villa are unbeaten in their seven previous Premier League games against Hull City, winning six of those games.
Hull's only previous win away to Villa was by 3-2 in a Division Two match in November 1967.

Hull City
Hull have lost six of their last seven home games, failing to score in five of those matches.
The Tigers have the worst record at home in the Premier League this season with just nine points from 11 games.
Hull have conceded 20 goals in their last 13 home league games, managing just three clean sheets.
Saturday's draw against Manchester City ended a run of three straight league defeats but Hull have only won two of their last 17 games in the division.
Hull have dropped five points from goals scored in the final minute of matches this season - more than any other side.

Aston Villa
Villa have gone nine league matches without a win and have lost their last four league away games. They lost five in a row at the end of last season.
They ended a club record drought of 10 hours and 59 minutes without a league goal when Jores Okore scored against Chelsea. It's the fourth worst goalless run in Premier League history.
But it is six hours and 58 minutes since Christian Benteke netted Villa's last away goal. They have scored just six goals in their last 19 league away games
Villa have had the fewest shots on target (63) in the league and the worst shot conversion rate (6.78%). Only Sunderland and Hull have created fewer chances than Villa this season.
Paul Lambert has lost 49 of his 100 league matches in charge of Villa, who have only scored 98 goals in that period. Only Mick McCarthy, with Sunderland, has lost more times after a century of Premier League matches with the same club.
