Push Gil further up and he'll score.

That may be true, but push him further up and nobody will get the ball to him, as the only player getting the ball to the front is Gil.

I think I have a plan. Tell Gil to play in midfield AND up front. Our creativity and goalscoring problems solved!

Amongst awful performers so far in any order
The Ref
Our number 8
Our number 10
Our number 11

Carles is our only hope may be with Benteje on and fat Sinc.

Defoe is 39 and cost £30 million. Or something else like that Lerner will never fund.

Eh? He's 32 and cost around £2m with Altidore going to Toronto
That's a net gain, I'd say.

Very much so. I also think Altidore will do fine in MLS which is about his level.

Christ, have you seen how Hull have battered Man City? Citeh are all over the place. Come on for FFS you should be hammering Hull. We could be in the bottom 3 today.

As it stands a point for Burnley tomorrow and we are in the bottom 3. Worst goals for and worst GD in the league.

Bottom three might ginger up Lerner and Fox about removing Lambert

Dream on. It'll all be about how 'instability' would be bad for the team. Which it might be. God, what a mess we've got ourselves in.

At least Drogba's been pretty bad, so you know he'll score.

He should have retired, Remy will surely be coming in.

I must be the only one but bar one run havent been impressed by Gil. Gabby is actually showing for the ball ok but his confidence is on the floor. His header and later running the ball out of play for a goal kick sums it up for us. Westwood and our two centre halves have been very good. Weimann looks dangerous, standard abysmal touch when in a good position at one stage however. Cleverley is gutless, sick of watching him play every single pass backwards.

We have players to bring in so half time is long enough to be watching some of them. Bacuna for Cleverley for definite and Benteke will need to come in too

I know he gets a lot of stick but Cleverley has been pretty anonymous for me. The only times I've noticed him are when he's run into trouble and gives it away.

Not a chance. He's here till the death.
he should have been sacked in December anyway. It's madness to leave it this late.

It is all a bit depressing really.

Even when we lose we can't take solace from the fact the manager is likelier to get sacked.

The only thing more immoveable from villa park than Lambert is the McGregor statue
