That's a pretty strong bench.

He played well against Bournemouth so lets hope Cleverley can continue that an improve. For a while Gabby was the undroppable one, now it's our Tom. Still, there's attacking intent in that line up and nice to see Fabian given the captaincy which he'll essentially keep as long as Vlaar isn't in the team. Let's have a go boys. That Arsenal team is decent but nothing special.

No surprise to see Gabby on the bench.

which is from where he can be effective if he comes on late in a game. He's not a starter but he deserves to be in the match day squad.

that seems a reasonable starting line-up.

He looked average against their reserves. Well is a vast exaggeration.

And Westwood  who is four best passer on the bench.

Nah Cleverley has been toilet since he's arrived. Does absolutely nothing to improve an already mediocre midfield, doesn't create, doesn't score, doesn't boss the centre of the park....don't want him.

We're going to sign Cleverley aren't we :(

Not for any cash transfer fee, we're not.

The lack of any other activity suggests that no-one else is that keen either, at least not at the fee involved.

It was a season long loan unless someone else matched the alleged £8M to make it permanent, and even then we got first refusal at that price.

If he's still here on the 3rd February, it just means no-one else wants to cough up Man Utd's asking price, nothing more, nothing less.
