This is my greatest memory as well.

Yes, we fully deserved the win over two legs.

In spite of all their "greats" we didn't bow down to them or show the respect that other teams may have done. We were top of Div 3 and had some big players in key positions who were prepared to challenge the big boys and couldn't give a f**k for who they were.
The 2nd leg confirmed it big time!

Yes -and we might have won the first leg as well.

We certainly made ourselves more 'media -friendly' as a result of these two games which made a change from "Oh! Aren't their attendances terrific for the third division?"
