Did anyone ever find out who won the old ones?
Blyth Spartans are going to use them as a temporary away stand.

Very good

As they look like car seats then how about offering replicas as car seats. Maybe with a tie-in with Fiat who are a club partner.

That's a revenue stream that wouldn't rely on selling the soul of the club, unlike this bullshit rename the Holte nonsense.

Yeah, yeah, but what does admin think?

Hopefully Gabby will have his own seat soon ;)

I bet you weren't saying that yesterday when won a tackle, ran 3/4 the length of the field before finding Benteke in space to set up Hutton

*double winky*
Of course not, that's what I expect him to do - my problem is I expect it far more often than he's capable of doing.

I hope they're carbon neutral

Quote
While the new dugout at Villa Park was used for the first time during the 2-1 win over Leicester, Norton Canes Football Club were enjoying an unveiling of their own just 24 hours earlier.

The Cannock club has nine teams of youngsters aged between four and 15 - with 250 members including players and coaches.

Villa ran a competition to win our old dugout that had existed on the B6 touchline since 2001.

As one of the founding fathers of the Football League, the claret and blues have always focused heavily on youth development.

The FA Charter Standard club share that philosophy, with enjoyment and development classed as their two main aims.

They entered the competition and fittingly were victorious.

Ryan Horton is the club's chairman and he could not hide his delight at the awesome addition to the ever-growing community club.

He said: "We entered on the Thursday and on the following Tuesday we found out the good news.

"We have a lot of Villa-mad young members so it's great for them to have such a historic part of a football club as part of their own.

"Many great managers and players have sat in that dugout so it's a real privilege. "

Because of the quick turnaround, it wasn't easy to get the message around but it soon spread through word of mouth and over half of the club's members turned up.

"Gordon Cowans came down which was brilliant.

"He was able to answer plenty of questions from our youngsters.

"It was a nice moment as the kids were keen to ask him what it was like to win and be part of a European Cup winning side but also the dads attended games 15-20 years ago when he was playing so it was a real celebration all round."

Everyone at Aston Villa wishes Norton Canes all the best for the rest of the season!

why bother sending the average fan an email saying they had the chance to win them?

It makes sense giving them to such a team but the why not just say that initially.

Why do clubs have car seats anyway. When did that become a thing? I dislike.
