Sounds like Okore is starting to cement his place in the team.

I thought NZog had a decent first half, really impressed with Okore again, Sanchez also. We played some decent football, albeit against a shite team.

Nice to back home in the warm, thank you Mr Sox. Was worth getting off my death bed for. Played some very nice stuff at times, shaky at the back against the break though. Kasper MOTM. Okore and Sanchez look real players, although Sanchez still looks like he has the potential for a late daft pass or challenge. And who would have thought 6 months ago that Marco van Hutton would be the player he is! First time i've seen us win at home since early May!
Onwards and upwards, Champions League, here we come.

Am i being harsh in thinking we looked better when Westwood went off?

I agree. I was interested to see how we looked without him as Lambert never drops him. Better I thought.

Turned up at VP fairly early for once. Was parked up in Bevington Road by 3.30. If Legion had been under the tree today I would have had time to have a good long chat with him and then popped around the corner to say hello to PWS. However there is no H&V  and to add to my disappointment walking up I realised I had left the ST cards at home. So it was straight back in the car to get cards and finally made it in at 4.25 having missed both goals. Frustrating second half as we wasted good possession and chances but all ended well.

Anyone that tells me they can still see a player in nzogbia and he should be starting in front of Grealish will get a sharp punch on the end of there nose

I'm not a violent man, but I'd be willing to act as a character witness on your behalf.

Benteke's vision and distribution were outstanding today.

Sounds like Okore is starting to cement his place in the team.

Okore will make us forget about Vlaar's likely departure in January quite quickly. He's doing so very well now. Delighted for him.

What a header by Clark, tops off a great few weeks of performances from him. I've given him some stick for being dominated too often physically and not up to standard but if he turns out to prove me wrong I'd love us to have a player on our hands there.

He is definitely more of a threat than any other centre back we have from set pieces.

Okore, Baker, Clark and big Phil means we're ok if Ron wants to move on, no worries there.
I'd like Delph to decide to stay though.

Yes however he should have buried that header.

I think you could be right
I was unsure of him to be fair, due to not seeing much of him and the expectation building around Him
But he's hardly put a foot wrong so far
