Paper thin midfield. Nice one Lambert

Our formation always strikes me as 'Bradford' in that we chuck 3 strikers on every game with nobody to create chances except those players themselves. Let's face it, those three are not going to do that.

That is pretty much the best side given the players available I think, if you take into account the fact that Lambert loves playing Gabs and Weimman wide. At least one of Gabby or Weimann deserve to be dropped but never gonna happen.

Ledley is missing for them.

Think Lambert has been too ambitious in his selection. With Sanchez in there we should easily dominate the Palace two of Jedinak and McArthur.

Gabby should be able to get some joy out of Kelly. Huge night for the club and manager.

Horrible sinking feeling of deja vu tonight, good luck to all those at Selhurst, with your fantastic support the team will at least know they have something to play for!

We're going to win tonight, I feel it in my bones I does.
2 -  1 but a late goal to scare us late on.

Disappointing that we don't have a striker on the bench .

Chris Turd is on the bench. Surprising.

Be interesting to see how he's going change things and shake things up if the games not going our way.

Not sure if that midfield is up for a cold night in South London. Need to get a goal in the first half me thinks.UTV.

I'm guessing Lambert believes that we've been so excellent recently he's going to go all out for the 3 points with a 4-2-4 formation.
