I'm as mad as they come which is fine, equally I called the Calum Robinson 48 hours ahead of it happening, which makes me as mad as lambert / Keane . I'm not sure what point I'm making but there it is. John e , good post.

But he's only come back because another striker has gone out. Otherwise, he'd still be at Preston.

I can understand why DBTW is pissed off but think Amfy has nailed the reason. So can we leave it there and get back to sagging Lambert, Lerner....

Lambert is sagging, you say?

I used to work with a lad from Sheffield who used the greeting "How's your pants?" and you were expected to reply well up, sagging or drooping or some such to describe your mood. Fair play to him.

There can be little doubt that PL is carrying heavy shopping and has sagging pants.

I note with interest that nobody has mentioned the disgraceful Black Shirt episode.

I think John M's fence sitters are out in force now.

John Mooney? Is he back?

For my part, of I have banged on elsewhere about the disparity between Edgbaston, where beer prices have been frozen for some years, and Villa Park. £3 for a pint of Banks Bitter in the members lounge.  And £200 for annual membership (also frozen).

Preemier League though innit. Nature of the beast.

Villa don't have a Happy hour though, they just increase the prices at half time.

But anyway, and in no way whasotever is this- "another new low"?

You were slightly annoyed (or even very annoyed, I don't know what 20p on a pint does to your Chakra), but either way, it's not "another new low" for our football club is it?

More importantly, does the price of a pint go up and down?

Yes, extreme, non troll opinions are the fruit in fruit cakes here.
I too like Richard Moore's bilious rants. They remind me of Basil Fawlty's opinions of Sybil.

For me, it shows how low the club can stoop and is a long line of new ones.

20p doesnt make a difference to anyones Chakra, as you put it, I never said it did. The principle was my aim of anger

Long line of new ones?

Go on then, away from the playing side, which we all know is bloody awful at the moment, what else has the club done to stoop to new lows?
