I used to love the bloke in the Lower Holte who would shout "I love you Pat" every time Berger got the ball, one of my favourite days down the Villa.

Pat Berger was quite a good impact player in the tail end of that season, and at times in the following season. If we can get anything like that sort of impact from Joe Cole right now, we could get more joy in attack. We need some guile.

That seems like an age ago now. Gabby and Young talked of as youngsters. The following 18 months both were raw and brilliant for us, particularly Ash.

Lovely memories of the 1982 European Cup Winners coming onto the field, very emotional.
