I'd just like to say, I'm not feeling great. I'm a bit sweaty and I've just been sick on the cat. I think I'm going down with something.

If I let you all down with a series of shit posts this evening, then please, bear this in mind.

How will we know if you are ill or not?

See, i've got a virus and am slow replying! *cough*

Had nothing to do with getting distracted by the shite horror film i'm watching, honest.

I thought we were the better team and their goalie made two excellent saves. Then we had our kamikaze five minutes which effectively killed the game. I'm not chuffed obviously, but I'm not too despondent. Cautiously optimistic for the season on the whole.

Reading between the lines, it sounds like it could be norovirus.  I know people who've had it its basically three to four days leaning over the toilet chucking your guts up.

It cant have helped, so on reflection may well be partially the reason we appeared to give up in the second half.

If it's norovirus it's a wonder the match wasn't abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch.

Paulie is probably still trying to work out how there could be a virus that he can't get rid of by doing some clever technological stuff on a computer.

The 3-0 scoreline flattered them in the first half, but the second was unacceptable. I hate the way Lambert's teams give up so much possession, it just isn't good enough. We barely touched the ball second half. We're Aston Villa not Burnley.

I don't think Villa gave up. The players just couldn't get the ball off Arsenal. They had the game won and were in control.

You're right but rather lose 3.0 than v Chelsea's 8.0 from 2 season's back.
