On a side note, the club just put this on Facebook "Ticket sales have been strong this week for the Arsenal game on Saturday, with several areas of Villa Park already sold out".

Proof once again that this is the only forum the club pay any attention to

*hoists h&v flag*

We definitely need an H&V flag to drape off the upper Holte, maybe a giant orange dot?
Great idea

I sit in row three of the Upper Holte, so I would get the final say, being ex-manager and all.

Its a strange one with attendances. The home support has dropped off with a reduction in season ticket sales, but the away support has picked up.

Larger allocations at both Chelsea and Everton so far, without a spare seat going.

I was chatting to one of the stewards pre-game at Anfield. He said that we hadn't taken up our full allocation for the game.

When was the last time we played Arsenal at 3pm on a Saturday at VP? In some bizarre way I wonder if the normal kick off time will have a positive effect as we've won a few 3pm games at the Emirates in recent years.

Think this might be a game where we get a reality check, Arsenal will get chances on the counter attack and our defence could struggle in one v ones against likes of Alexis and Ramsey so 1-3 Arsenal.

I'm going to test my memory and say it was a 2:2 Savo gettingva brace and that wanker dixon getting a late equalizer. Sunny day too.

2:2 again.  Gabby and Cleverly.

I reckon it was that game - way back on 7th September 1996 - we haven't played them at home on at Saturday at 3pm for 18 years, blimey!

We don't stand a chance, they've got Messi, Iniesta and Xavi in the shape of Wilshere, stop him and we might get away with a point.

We'd never be able to agree on what would go on the flag.

Oh yes we would!

Hopefully Wishire will be sitting in the centre circle tapping away on his laptop for about half an hour and then going on to the H&V site to see how the game is going!

We'd never get past what constitutes the correct colour of orange

It would be really nice of Arsenal to bring back a couple of injuries from Dortmund ;-)

No, we never do up there it seems.

Sadly, we don't have a cat in hells chance on Saturday.

Really?

Its realistic.  Don't get me wrong, its been a good start and the win at
Anfield was great, but we went there at a good time with players missing for them.  Arsenal will simply have far too much quality for us and I expect us to be well beaten
