Liverpool controlled the gme, had most of the possession, at home, and we nicked it one-nil. Classic smash and grab.

Classic smash and grab.OK I was at the match I didn't have the feeing that it was smash and grab. I thought defensively we controlled the game. They had almost zero chances. To me classic smash and grab is desperate defending, half a dozen saves by the keeper, a few cleared off the line etc etc.

Just watched Rodgers post match interview and he said that they were competing on a budget? Can someone remind me how much they spent in the Summer?
The squad looks suddenly a lot deeper that you almost forget Cole, Clark, Herd, Lowton etc who are not even making the bench!
Hutton rolled back the years with that reducer on Sterling. That was straight out of the 70's, flying squad, get yer trousers on you're nicked.
We can't really be laying into Hull players for their treatment of Grealish and then praising Hutton for doing the exact same thing on Sterling.
