One of very few London clubs we don't all hate. Probably because we know hardly anything about them.
The only game against them that springs to mind is March 22 1975. It was my 29th birthday and we played them at Brisbane Rd. and lost 1-0. It was in the days of only one sub being allowed, and they made a change at half time and their sub came out wearing the same number as one of their other players (no names on shirts in those days) I think it was number two.I can remember Ron Saunders saying after the game that it confused our side, and I believe that there was some sort of inquiry but nothing came of it.Anyway watch out Villa, they're a bunch of cheating bastards.
