Maybe it is because I was a bit too young to remember the Don Revie 'Dirty Leeds' team in the early seventies or maybe it is because I enjoyed them pipping Manure to the title in 1992 but I don't really give a toss about Leeds one way or the other. I also remember enjoying watching them beat Liverpool in the 1992 Charity Shield with a Cantona hat-trick. I was on holiday in Tenerife and watched it in Gary Lineker's bar. I also remember them beating us 4-1 at Villa park in 1991 on the day Freddie Mercury died.

Hopefully they’ll find plucky defeats against top teams starts to wear you down if you keep doing it.

Not like we don’t know anything about that. In the creaming over Leeds everyone forgets how we did precisely the same against Spurs A, Arsenal A, Liverpool H, Man U A. Led in all those games and came away with a point.

If looking at headlines, one would be forgiven for thinking Leeds won at the weekend. Such has been the media fawning.

I thought it was very good of them to pair two blokes who had clearly never met one another before at the centre of the defence.

The media are labeling Bielsa a footballing genius but it’s not like he won the championship in either of his two seasons.

Whoops I’ll shut up. That’s the rum and coke talking. I swear I thought the Albion had won it last season. Oh well.

Did they?? They attacked well but defensively they were a shambles....if you asked Klopp before kick off how he wanted Leeds to play he’d have chosen exactly that way....kamikaze with soft lad Bamford up top....VVD probably made more mistakes in 90 minutes than he did all last season and they still won.

I don’t get the fawning, sure they have intensity & fitness but with that keeper & defence they will be in bottom 6 no doubt.  I had to laugh on Sunday I heard a Leeds fan on the radio saying he isn’t concerned because Liam Cooper is nearly fit & he’ll make the difference :-) a league one centre back who looked beyond his limit in the Championship is the messiah

It's the aspect ratio, 3 sides tiny dump and 1 side huge monstrosity can't be rendered effectively.

That sounds like it comes from bitter experience.
