We don't seem to be beating other teams off with these signings. It does have the feel of hoovering up other teams cast offs. I'm slightly sad the promotion of youth has clearly been abandoned.
I was really disappointed at first then realised I was thinking of Jermaine Pennant. Considering how far we've sunk these days he's probably the best we can hope for. Damning with faint praise I know, but there you go.Edit. Also didn't know he was a left back. Could have sworn he was a winger. Certainly played as a winger for England anyway.
Another not particularly good player joining us.Better than Luna, and probably more interested in playing for us than Bertrand without spending stupid money. However, from signing young, hungry potentially good players, it seems like we've moved to older players who have proved they're not exactly the greatest players around.

Now he goes and does that, he is berated because these are not the type of experienced PL players wanted. Which of course simply points to the fact he does not have the money needed to either afford the up front fee nor wage demands of the types of players people want him to sign.Round and round we go.
