The media will be creaming it now over Man U and the fact that now everything must be perfect again. Spurs look hideous.

Townsend taken off after 30 mins, rarely see managers taking a player off that early.

Sherwood will be linked with a good few Spurs players in the summer, Townsend will be linked to us no doubt.

2-0 Everton. How did we lose to this useless Newcastle team?

We didn't deserve to. We easily did enough to win that game.

Spurs are utterly crap, as bad (pound for pound) as were Sunderland yesterday.  This "Premier League" is truly mediocre, and if we can carry on momentum against a bunch of teams who may well be "on the beach" by mid-March, we could harvest a lot of points before the end of the season.

The mediocrity of the premier league should see plenty of shock results between now and the final game. I think we will see a few twists and turns.

I wish we were playing Newcastle now. We really should have won up there.

Scots League Cup Final: Ref bottled clear peno for Utd, shame, but nothing new up here i'm afraid. Ref cannot send off the Celtic Capt AND give a peno.

Ramsey has conceded relegation by saying those dreaded words "until it's mathematically impossible to survive we keep going".

I do feel for him. Another good man sent to the footballing gallows by clueless owners!

Why feel for him?

He didnt have to take the job. By all accounts he is a decent coach and should have stuck to that. I think Ramsey is mid 40's age wise and if had the potential to be a good manager it would have come to fruition earlier in his career.

I consider I'm good at the job I do. However, I don't think for one moment Id ever become the chief exec, as it would be well beyond my capabilities

Ramsey's older than that, I remember him from the 1980/81 Panini sticker book.

Wiki confirms he's 53 next month.
