Bale looks to have lost all his confidence. Don't know if I was imagining it but it sounded like he was jeered every time he got the ball.

And yet he's got 14 in 37 for them this season. Which isn't exactly shoddy. Then again when they consider 2 in 6 for Ronaldo to be a drought they may be a bit spoilt.

They've booed Ronaldo and Cassillas this season, I'll bet he cries all the way to the bank.

He's no Scott Sinclair, with stats like that.

He has been consistently jeered since a game a few weeks ago where he did not pass to Ronaldo when through on goal. Madrid fans are not impressed apparently, despite goals in in the Spanish Cup final and the Chumps league final last season. It is clearly affecting his confidence too which is a shame for him because he has done little wrong. Sure he will be back in the Premier league come the summer.

Having just read how arrogant Liverpool fans are, I think Real Madrid must have the most set of arrogant fans anywhere.

Real Madrid are a shit football club.  There is absolutely nothing admirable about them or the way they buy trophies.

We also shouldn't forget that their stadium is named after someone who was arguably a fascist, that they were Francisco Franco's favourite club, and that he financially backed them using government money and when that didn't work used the police and security services to 'encourage' the opposition to produce a result favourable to Real.

Also, we've won more games than them this month, so they can go fuck themselves.

When I worked abroad my boss for a while was a big Real Madrid fan from Madrid. The most arrogant, hard to like person I have ever worked with. He sacked a pair of dancers once because the guy was "a poof" and the girl was "ugly". He actually got the sack himself because the owner didn't like it when he sacked me for being "disloyal". Basically that meant I blatantly let it be known to everyone I spoke to what a tosser he was. I got reinstated after a two week 'holiday'. He didn't. His name was Rafa. If anyone acts like a tosser to this day I think to myself "What a Rafa".

Yeah, that's a good deciding factor. I was trying to decide who to support, as both of these clubs are despicable, with despicable owners buying despicable success for their despicable, horrible fans, but one of them has more likeable players than the other. I'll go with that.
