I noticed a good few England flags with the names of lower league club names on them which, to me, begs the question:  Why aren't these people supporting their own clubs instead of following this, thereby helping their own clubs' finances and also helping to save the game at lower level?  If there was a blank day or, if it was a mid-week match, then I could understand it.

I must have missed the name calling and the sarcasm. All I've seen are people giving coherent explanations why they disagree with you. Personally, I have literally never met any of the other regular posters on here so the idea that there is some North Korean style party line is just silly.

Martin O'Neill stuff moved elsewhere to keep this thread to what it is for.

And his current resale value?

Is irrelevant. We made a loss on Paul McGrath; did that make him a bad signing? Now , if you want a rational debate, go ahead. If you want to throw insults around because you're in a minority of one, please go somewhere else.

We made a loss on Paul McGrath;

That's just typical Villa,letting his contract run down like that! Ellis out!

Au contraire, we sold him.

Yeah but we should have had him on a mega contract so we got £25 million for him.

I wish I had had a cheeky little treble on that. I could have bought all the kids Christmas presents and then flown off on holiday from the winnings.

Benteke on the bench for the Wales game. Not surprised after his performance against Iceland.

He's clearly being a tad ironic
