From the bits I saw, Scotland seemed to play well. Nice bit of pass and move just after Germany had re-taken the lead, resulting in Naismith being brought down when he looked like he was through. German player only got a booking for it. Didn't see the replay so didn't see whether there was a covering defender or not.

Okore played the last 35 minutes for Denmark against Armenia last night.  Didn't watch it but DR's match review
says
"The muscular defender isn't in peak physical condition yet, but replaced the injured Simon Kjær with precision and without error"
Difficult to translate the Danish "grading system" as they use the Danish academic scale of -02 to 12 but I think his 04 translated to about a 6/10.

Forcing a player to play for you when he has had enough. That won't end well. Am I right in saying he still has some legal issues in France?

Tyldesley saying Delph being picked shows you don't have to be playing for a top 6 club to get picked - why doesn't he say that as well for Jones & Rooney?

Clive Tyldsley just compared villa to hull and Swansea.  Which is obviously nice.  Delph booked after 8 minutes.

Ridiculous from Delph.

And a shocking touch from Rooney

Delph started well with the ball, but could have easily been sent off in the first ten minutes as he made two challenges worthy of yellow cards.  Heart in mouth stuff when he lunged into a challenge straight after getting booked but he thankfully got the ball.

Well he was still in short pants when we enjoyed "That night in Rotterdam."
