Put yourself in his position...the offers are there, but nout is guaranteed.

He is Villa...

He had three desires...get us up, keep us up...win something. He will be here next 12 months if our owners share his ambition. That's what, at the end of the day it's all about.

Personally,  i am very confident that our owners will not let him or us down 8)

I reckon it will take £150k a week for him to stay. After all he automatically gets that's much if he leaves

But poor little defenceless Man U wonít be Ďbulliedí by Villa over the asking price, apparently. Jesus wept.

Always find that a weird thing. They canít really be bullied, if they canít afford the price they canít afford the player simple as that.

120 mil is a proper fuck off we donít want to sell him price though

Apparently Ozil earns £350k a week at Arsenal, and doesn't even play much for them either. Not even on the bench for the cup final.

Probably still doesn't put him in the top 50 highest paid in the league. Zaha is reportedly on 130k a week for example.

I read somehwere Max Meyer there is on 100k a week + aswell. He dosen't even start many games for them.

It's wrong in these times but ultimately if we want to keep our best players and significantly improve they're going to have to be paid 100k + a week.

Jack for his contribution is easily a 100k a week player now.

It'll be a 2 year extension on £180k / week. That's what he would get elsewhere. He's going nowhere...

Unbelievable  - we are all heading for a recession but footballers, dont seem to worry about it - no footballer is worth a fraction of what they get paid

£100K a week - we must be nuts!

Of which £50k goes straight into out tax coffers. Itís good for the economy!

Seriously though I agree itís obscene, but we either want to compete with the big boys or we donít.  I suspect it may need to be more than100k

A 5 year contract at £100k/week is an outlay of £26m.  Would we get a replacement for £26m?

You could buy Eze for that and have the remainder of Jack's fee to play with. But Eze isn't as good.

And that's the kicker.

If the owners are serious about building the team around Jack then it should be £125k to £150k a week for 5 years, no arguments no quibbles no pissing about. Weíre a Premier League club now and any pretensions we have in competing further up the table means he needs to be tied in and a signal sent.

Anyone wanting to buy him itís £120m now and that goes up to £150m if itís near the end of the window. Put up or fuck off.
