It's risen £73.6m to £391.3m, not from 73 to 391. Still eye-watering amounts mind.

Ha, yeah that's a misread! Still, 20% loss of revenue is significant.

They should have 20 points deducted immediately - which puts them in 19th and us in 16th :)

Given that is a quarterly result it will be interesting to see the annual figures.

BBC Sports report that Man U are "stepping up interest". How the hell do they know this? Do they show a photo of the player to interested parties and watch their facial reactions like the Tim Roth character in "Lie To Me"?

It'll be even worse when we are about to play them. They love to unsettle a player.

Indeed it’s happened too many times to us. I pray for the day the shoe is on the other foot

Wouldn't it be great if Jack tears them apart and we beat them, then he says why would I want to play for them, they're crap.

Sadly although i dont believe this current nonsense i think he will go there in summer. He looks really frustrated at some of the crap he has to play alongside. His team mates have let him down bad.

I hope of he does leave he goes better than united or spurs. Would love to see him do well at a top spanish club

He let himself down on Saturday,  he was as terrible as the rest.

Stifled and altogether ineffective with 0 support from his teammates.

He was but when he plays bad his team mates should be there supporting him. Not performing even worse than him. He cant do it all himself each week.

Players like AEG el ghazi luiz

I'm not making excuses for him. He was one of the worst performers, routinely knocked off the ball having delayed pass. It happened time and time again. His act of petulance was dire too.

I have a lot of sympathy for him, he looks knackered, and why shouldn’t he?? The amount of work he has been putting in, the manager keeps playing a system where he is isolated and restricting his effectiveness.
Add to that playing with players who seem incapable of kicking a football in the right direction and you get what happened Saturday. He had a bad game but was still the best Villa player out there.
Saturday was down to Smith, not Jack.

No, Jack was part of the team, played poorly and was part of the collective failure.

I think he's entitled to an off game personally, I find it strange that you've spent all season having a go at other posters for negativity but now everything you post is about as negative as you could possibly be on the respective subject.

Even the best players in the world cop an off game once or twice a season, particularly when the whole enterprise is under pressure and they've been carrying under-performing teammates effectively since Game 1.
