Have we not sold him yet? Ffs! Looks like we're stuck with him.

So essentially straight from the horses mouth there.

He signed a contract fully expecting a mid table finish then I assume with more strengthening a push for Europe next season.

He's invested for atleast 2 years I think.

He's talking about playing in a European campaign next season too and playing in front of crowds again.

Kris Boyd on Sky saying that Jack won't be regarded as a great player until he moves to a big club.

If there were conditions to Jack signing his new contract then I think it is fair to assume that the owners have met their side of the deal and arguably we are ahead of target.  That can only be good news.

Couldn’t listen to him. Speaking rubbish. The wife asked who he was anyway, and I could only shrug my shoulders.

One man team tonight.

I’ll be honest I thought he was pretty average tonight.

Thought he was average/poor tonight to be honest. Clearly fatigued. Hoddle kept saying the Villa management needed to move him inside to get him into the game. Not sure what took the Villa brains trust on the sideline to see it. Made the goal once moved.

Been man marked by two players he should have been dragging them all over the pitch.

He was double marked, which should have given others like Barkley and El Ghazi space. Unfortunately for us, they both looked like they'd paid to play in a charity game.
