Jack will be absolutely crushed by all of this. He cant do it alone. I said ages ago just enjoy him for the little time we have him for. As high as last season ended up being he will very likely now be a part of two Villa relegations in his short career. Thats going to hurt him a lot even if personally he will be fine once he moves elsewhere. Like many excellent Villa players who left the club for better fortunes he above all deserves much, much better than the shit hes putting up with.

I hope he hits some kind of form for these ten games, what difficult night last night for everybody associated with the club.  The only positive it cant get much worse.  Would another manager get more out of Jack at the moment?

Criticising Jack for his performance in the last few games is like complaining to Pret a Manager that the crust on the turd sandwich they've served you is a bit hard.

Disappeared out the game when he took a knock in a tackle. We didn't get the ball for much of the rest of the game though.

Well sky sports at half time gave the info graphic that Jack Grealish had least touches in the match by any player -outfield.
He only had 42 touches all match. And only once in the penalty area.
It's fair to say he had a poor match.
Doesn't mean he's a poor player of course.
Just not as good as some like to suggest however.

He just looks like he's had quite enough of the omnishambles around him.  Opposition teams know he's our one good player, so they mark him, and batter him, and he'd fed up with it.  Can't say I blame him either.  Enjoy his last few games for us, there's no way he'll be here next season.

Just play Jack where he is most effective as a number 10 behind the striker(s) and he will be fine.

Playing him on the left wing is baffling. He was invisible yesterday because he was out of position and had no support. He can't do it all himself (although he tries sometimes out of frustration). I don't get the thinking at all.

We make it so easy for the opposition, stop Grealish and you win.
So they stop Grealish  by any means and they win.
He must be sick and fed up of the incompetence around him.
How sad is it that we are go8ng to lose this once in a generation Villa Player because of the stupidity of the people charged with running this club.
The owners need to do something.

Criminal. No other club in the top flight would make such stupid decisions. Why do we end up with the idiots?

Any other club in our shoes would look at the fairy tale Jack Grealish story, prioritise it, look to it as an opportunity to propel the club forward and bin any manager for putting the whole thing in jeopardy.

How anyone could say Jack isnt as good as some like to suggest is completely beyond me. Hes a fabulous player who has been fabulous in a shite side for the vast majority of this season. Hes only human and not a machine. He has my 110% backing and well wishes when he inevitably moves on at the end of the season.

The rumour that I have been told more than once is the deal has been done and he's been spotted looking for a house.  It's the second part that makes me file it under "bollocks". Jack drives up from Bodymoor Heath after training and pitches up at an Estate Agents in Alderley Edge, swings open door and says, in an accent that will stick out a mile in the Cheshire Golden Triangle, "Alright, mate. Got anything in the 5 to 10mil range?"

Unless there is a massive change of direction we are down anyway.
