I don't really mind an ex-Man U player talking up Man U. I get more annoyed when our own local press try to flog our best players.

Its more the fact for me how is belittling our club with all the laughing.

All he had to say was villa are a massive club but united are bigger. Would love it if we stayed up and jack stayed.

Can see England-Italy being called off later this month for obvious reasons so could well have to wait even longer for the long overdue England cap.

Quite possibly, but only an extra four days unless England Denmark gets called off, too. Doesn't seem likely but there is no way of knowing how things might escalate, I suppose.

I have a twenty quid bet with a Bluenose that he will play for England before the end of this year so panicking about games getting called off after he got bloody injured last time, think he might win the bet by default ☹

Oh didn't realise England were playing a second game. Denmark had issues in their league with players of Brondby self containing I think so unluck with the two opponents chosen compared to say Spain where there's been no issues so far.

Ah had forgotten about Brondby despite reading it yesterday. Can see both games being off. Having the Euros playoffs postponed would be more of a headache for the organisers.

Because there's nothing to worry about.

It is good as I was also worried with the way he was moving in the final and it's unusual there's been no real mention of him this week.

Maybe  I only see Grealish going if Villa go down AND he plays the euros as he would then show he can cut it .
At the moment he's nothing more than the Zaha of Villa.
And we all know what happened to Zaha when he left Palace . It's best for Grealish to stay whatever division we are in and push on.
However if it's a case he has England recognition and is a key player at the euros then maybe that is fair otherwise he should be staying .
He has not shown in 2 key matches now any form or level of an international or champions league class player.
Is that a slump or is that him peaking before.
Grealish has to consistently provide goals and assists or he won't reach the heights of Joe Cole level of success
And will just be another over hyped player and what could have been

Pretty clear now Jackís head has been turned. United have done it to us again, the latest in a long line that includes Young and Yorke. I think he needs to be stripped of the captaincy now!

What are you on about? How do you manage to jump to that conclusion on the basis of the team being outplayed once again tonight so much so that Jack was barely able to get on the ball?

One thing that I would agree on is that he deserves to be playing in a better team with much better players than he is now...but you never said that.

He's gone off the boil due to the fact that he's single highhandedly been carrying the side with hardly any help from the rest of the side for most of the season.

He's probably mentally and physically spent, nothing to do with anything else. Literally no one else is standing up.
