There's a few people saying he didn't play well and one really weird post. There's hardly some mass turning on him is there.

Exactly.  He was short of his usual very high standard but it's not exactly blasphemy to say so.

Hes had four big finals here and done nothing in any of them. That says to me were his level so he should just stay here 😊

Jack was largely anonymous but I put that down to our piss poor ball retention, constantly hoofing it long, and Man City stifling him any time he got the ball at his feet. Weve got 8 days to the next game so hopefully enough time for any knock or niggle to be sorted. Jack being fit and SJM coming back are essential for us to get out of this relegation fight.

He was constantly stretching his calf in the second half.

If he was struggling and left on to try and save this game Id say that was a risk not worth taking.

Man. City did well pushing him out to areas he couldn't threaten from. Wish he'd had a pop from that late corner btw instead of trying to control it.

Above all hopefully there's nothing serious with his calf. Think we all know what will happen if he misses games in the run in. We need him and Mings out there for every single game left to have a good chance of staying up.

Should have been taken off if he was as injured as he was making out throughout the game by constantly holding his hamstring and limping. Hes more use to us in a relegation battle than limping through a final.

Disappointed with Jack - he sat down for 5 mins at the end of the game. Were all dejected, but Id expect more from a villa captain at the final whistle of a cup final

What a load of old shite.

Hmm i dont think smith and co are going to be happy with guilberts comments (if hasnt been misquoted of course which could be the case) regarding grealish leaving in the summer for a bigger club.

All he said was that Grealish "has the ability to play for a big club".

Ignoring the fact that he already plays for one, it's still hardly touting him to other teams to suggest that he could play for a team who are currently ahead of us in the pecking order.

The article spins it saying he could leave in the summer and llay for a big club
