The set up for Target was world class, how many players can even think of that.
The best English midfielder without doubt.

Do you think the way he flicked it up off his standing foot was deliberate?
Presumed it was a bit of a fluke

That ball to Samatta 2nd half was ridiculous.

Reminded me of the end of the Cascarino to Chris Price move against Arsenal away in 1990. You saw less of Targett's run on the tv screen than Jack did with his back turned to him. Outstanding stuff.

Targett starts from miles back. Almost as though he's watching and waiting until Leicester's entire right side has been sucked into Grealish's gravity well before galloping into the space.

They're becoming quite the combination down that side.

In recent weeks, opposition defences have retreated to the tactics of championship defences. Two or three defenders drawn to him, tactical fouling throughout the pitch and for a finish defenders trying to do him. Brighton or Watford is one thing. Seeing Perreira and the Soyuncu, who are two of the best defenders in the division just fouling him at all costs for a finish must be the ultimate compliment. That yellow Soyuncu picked up late on was filthy really, Perreira was seeing stars for a finish letting Trez run off the back of him for the winner.

Target said afterwards that it was a fluke and they had already had a laugh about how lucky it was to bounce off his standing foot.

Not a criticism of Target but imagine how good we could become if we had another attacking talent of a similar level - a wide forward - that could exploit the spaces Grealish creates.

personally from what I have seen(admittedly only vs the Villa) I don't rate that Soyuncu...looks like a carthorse to me and his postional play is very poor....or is it just me ?

As good a player as he is, it's turning into some sort of Religious Sect type following on here again. It's cringeworthy.

Yeah, imagine getting excited about the best young player we've possibly ever prodcued and one of the most talked about players in the Premier League.  It'll never catch on.
