The 2 wins v Norwich & having 5 teams worse than us have ultimately saved us  >:(

And somehow managing to win at Arsenal, at home to Man City and Chelsea and getting a good draw at Anfield.  Looking at the final table and those games could have been reasonably expected to yield zero points. Had they done so, we would have been stuffed weeks ago.

And looking at the table we wouldn't have expected to have got zero points from Fulham over the season.

None of this means anything - we finished where we did because we deserved to.  Over the course of 38 games there were 14 teams better than us and 5 worse.  That's it.

I'm generally one of the happy-clappers on here, I try to see the good in even the most atrocious performances.

But, we invest this Summer or we go down. I can't see anyway that we'll survive another season with the current playing staff, especially if Lambert is still in charge.
