Agree I felt a bit uneasy with the self mocking. Funny, but from the outside looking in I'm guessing it just looks quite sad and strange.
As for Gabby, yes he's Charlie big time in his head shame he's had such a poor poor season. Hate to say it but he needs to go.

He's on too much money for what he contributes to keep really. If he dropped his next contact down to £25k max I'd take him.

It's a depressing thought that a wage cut would take him down to £25k. Did he ever sign that new contract?

When I saw we were 3 down I just chuckled apathetically and informed the wife. That's how bad it has become.

Was that 9-0 on aggregate this year?

I'll keep this brief, that was Fucking appalling. I love the villa I have for over 30 year's but if we carry on like this I'm goin to have to seriously consider how long I can watch this utter shite....Yeah right I'll be there as usual

Did anybody else notice a few players asking for Spurs shirts after the game? I didn't see a single Spurs player take a Villa shirt in return.

We were awful today, devoid of shape, confidence, effort and ambition. Very worrying that our best players were probably Delph and Guzan - MON signings.

The fans were good but we are reduced to gallows humour. Very, very sad.

I had to suffer a wedding tonight, I couldn't get a signal in the hotel. I came out and got 3 txt messages I really hoped it was the one to say Lambert had gone

Just in and I will keep it brief too.  In equal measure embarrassing, clueless and downright shit. The manager must go, as have nearly all of that team. They do not deserve the support they get, or to represent the proud football team that is Aston Villa. In short, a disgrace to the name.

I managed to lose around £40 today, due to various fuck ups which also lead to me missing the first half. On the bright side I also missed all of Tottenham's goals. It also appears that I seem to resemble Alan Hutton, from the chants that were aimed at me as I stubbornly trudged towards my seat when I finally got there. More booze needed.

Lambert - "it's an incredible achievement to keep Villa in this league."

What a sad state of affairs.

Just seen the goals. Absolutely shocking. The players didn't look interested - Lowton and vlaar especially . Shocking
