Brian Green is right.  We've allowed this to happen. Lerner, Faulkner and whatever stooge that's currently in the dugout would have been the subject of grief for years at any other club. If we do survive NOTHING will change under this incompetent management. It will simply delay relegation by 12 months.

I wonder if Randy knows we played today?

He'll be delighted we made it into Europe (Wales) and put on such an 'amazing' performance. Bloody Americans really should stick to their own silly games.

C'mon Chris, you're better than that.

Besides, what if we get brought out by another American?

It is really difficult to know where to start in fully describing the shambles this club has become.

Honestly, from top to bottom, the club is a fucking mess and all of them want fucking shooting.

The stay-away half arsed chairman who can't string two coherent sentences together with his "tell you what I am going to do in the summer" bullshit, the utter moron.

The shiny faced twelve year old CEO who is great at running restaurants and charities but absolutely out of his depth running a football club.

The denialist, mumbling wreck of a football relic we have in charge of the team who has managed to make McLeish look decent by comparison.

The collection of players who look like they should be in the Championship - at best - in most cases, and in others like they've never played the game before. This group of "young and hungry" players, the likes of the clueless Baker, the half arsed Weimann with his three goals all season and accompanying undropability, the ones who just don't look particularly arsed.

Or how about the ones who have spent the season playing keepy uppies with schoolchildren because their high wages mean they can't be trusted with the proper squad?

Then take a look at some of the shit that has gone on.

Coaches suspended for bullying.

Coaches who, apparently, had made training sessions a misery and had been actively training the players to play long ball tactics. What the fuck was Lambert doing while that was going on?

Who is the manager here at the moment? Is it Lambert? For how long? is he actually working his notice? Is the chairman going to sack him? Is the chairman going to actually be the chairman this time next week, let alone this time next year?

Sometimes a club will start behaving as if it has decided it is going to get relegated, and not let anything stop it. A few years ago that was Newcastle. This season, we are starting to look like that Newcastle side.

The difference is, Newcastle went down and kept all their better players. We are going to go down and find ourselves with a squad full of fucking dross which has no hope of getting automatic promotion.

Shame on the witlessly stupid, and the wilfully negligent morons who have brought us to this situation.

I wouldn't piss on any of them if they were on fire.

as succinct a summation as you could hope to find. I'd just like to add it takes incompetence of a very special kind to spend a quarter of a billion quid to make something far worse than when you acquired it. Ladies and gentlemen i give you Randolph Lerner. A man so inept I wouldn't trust him to find his own arse in the dark...

How in the name of hell did it get to this.

And yet i'm not the only one to mention that Richard seems to be gloating.

No, you're quite right, you're not. Which means I must be. I bow to your opinions on the matter

I'd take the rest of the evening off if I were you.

I'm going to David, enjoy your evening if you are taking it off too

Well lets hope they are a bit better or luckier with their appointments than this one.

Look, if we were to be relegated (god forbid), someone from the club would have to fly to the States and tell him.

Club statement.

Following the 4-1 loss to Swansea City this afternoon the focus for attention seems to have turned to our manager and constant requests for him to be relieved of his duties.

I had hoped that attention would have been on the terrific effort the team, coaches and manager are putting in to try and secure our Premier League status.  However this isn't to be.

Now is the time more than ever for everyone associated with this fine football franchise to get right behind the laudable efforts of the manager and the players against Hull Tigers next week to give the team the maximum chance possible of achieving the goal we set out for - to stay in this league.

As for Paul's tenure I will address this when we are in League 1.  Paul has however never wavered from our policy of bombing out experienced internationals and replacing them with young, hungry but not very good Championship players.

Up the Aston.

Absolutely spot on.
We've been practically asset stripped (on the playing side) over the last 4 years and the fans have let them get away with it. Only now have we finally realised what Lerner has done to us.

Usual shit?
Yep, reckons we started well deserved to equalise, wouldn't criticise Guzan for 2nd goal, wasn't sure it was a pen?
Says he needs the fans on board for hull, called it a "cup final"
