Steak and chips was nearly always mentioned. Lager and lime, The Deer Hunter, Rod Stewart, Ford Capri's and Bo Derek tended to crop up regularly too.

Brazil 1970 team......smoking....long journeys home after an away defeat.....Dianna Ross....P.E. Teacher.... the man who hands out medals at wembley.....Ali
Diana Ross? The Supreme girls were better. And of course we had Nina Carter and Jilly Johnson.

Didn't Nina Carter marry Rick Wakeman?

I always remember being mildly horrified when reading that George Berry's favorite food was curried goat.
Why?

Well it was the 70s, spaghetti was a continental extravagance, the thought of catching a goat and putting it in a curry was as strange then as snail flavoured ice cream is now.
