I am in the camp that prefers a bit of skin and hair flying from our owner rather than hiding in a country club. I want our owner to care enough to dig deep into his personal fortune to get us where we want to be.  If the spur to that commitment is Tony getting fighting mad with the likes of Holloway sobeit.  I want an owner who cares.  For such an owner I can excuse lack of dignity and diplomacy. Besides, it is entertaining and anything that upsets the LTA troll can't be bad.

I'd prefer the owner to care and to be dignified rather than posting guff that we'd be ripping into someone like Gold if he did it.

There's no way he should be posting stuff like that. Have some dignity and decorum man!

My concern is whilst he's tweeting he could be doing something more useful.

Shoe shopping?

Striker shopping would be more helpful.

Is that something that requires 100% of your concentration for every minute of your waking hours? I mean I reckon he's probably eaten some food today, used the bathroom a few times. Maybe even played with his kids.

Thank you Tony for humiliating and embarrassing this club with that childish and disgusting tweet.  Treat the club with respect it deserves.  Ian Holloway knows much more about football that you ever will.

I'm sure Holloway's view of Villa floundering fits in nicely with your dream scenario.

This is how you bitch slap someone publicly, not the way Tony did it.

As regards the specific comments made by Mr Sullivan, we have tried but can’t seem to come up with a response that reflects terribly well on us.

What's really disappointing about that magnificent response is that we simply didn't get enough of it. Added to the fact the club went into the dumper very quickly after.

The Blues have had owners who are willing to bear their teeth in the papers and on social media. Didn't make a jot of difference on the pitch.

I will judge Tony Xia by what happens on the pitch.  Nothing more, nothing less.

Me too. However it'd be a bit quiet on here if we didn't pass comment during the journey.

If he delivers the funds to get us securely back in the Premiership he can paint his arse blue and pose nude in KRO for all I care.

I was kind of joking.

I like the way f***ed could be failed or fucked.  Deliberate ambiguity in a second language is to be admired. This guy's English is fine and dandy enough, don't worry.

Funny?  Yes.
Appropriate? From the owner, probably not.  The fact that he's deleted it says a lot.
There's far bigger twats in the footballing world than Mr Relegation himself to worry about.
I'd have gone for "I appreciate the concern of a man who's been relegated from the championship twice, but we're quietly confident that we're moving in the right direction."
