I said something similar several thousand pages back, but the way I see it is that if he turns out to be a bullshitting dog beautician I won't feel any better about it just because I warned as much on here. Smoke and mirrors? Let's look at this logically.  So they are going to pay off the clubs 25million overdraft with HSBC. Then give Lerner in the region of another 75 million if we get promoted. To do this they will have to invest heavily in the club for players and a new manager. Then the only way they could sell us on at a profit is if we are once again successful at the top end. So surely this is what we want isn't it?
So tell me where's the con?

I think maybe the money people at the Lerners multi million/billion dollars investment group might just be smart enough to prevent that happening.

Quite possible. I said something similar several thousand pages back, but the way I see it is that if he turns out to be a bullshitting dog beautician I won't feel any better about it just because I warned as much on here. Therefore it's full steam ahead on the slimming shower gel express for me until the evidence dictates otherwise.

It might just be that his reach exceeds his grasp, but so long as he doesn't Ridsdale us that'll be fine. All we really need is someone reasonably financially endowed and not a person who makes deliberately bad decisions like Randolph.
