Honestly, genuinely, I am struggling to believe people actually, genuinely really think he's pulling some sort of wheeze to do well out of the club financially.

Aren't you even capable of looking for the basic evidence out there to the contrary?

Like published accounts - and by the way, published accounts don't really fit into the "I'll take them with a pinch of salt" category, not unless you think the enormous accountancy firms who sign off said accounts as truthful are in the game of risking their continued existence in order to let Randy fiddle away a few quid.

Why is it that we have to go through this exact same fucking rigmarole every few weeks when someone decides they're actually brighter than all the many sources out there who have analysed our accounts and know the actual facts - and understand the basic principles, both accounting and legal behind financial reporting - purely because they don't like the chairman?

I don't like him, either. I think he's been a fucking disaster.

But I'm not sufficiently dim to ignore the enormous legal - that's legal as in the literal sense, too - documentation which states the precise situation re our finances just because i don't want it to be true.

FFS.

I'm going to grab a defibrillator. Or a brown bag. Whatever I can find first.

See the Channel Islands. Havens, but not tax-free.

No sales tax, no real estate tax, no credit card tax and no tax when transferring funds.. I'd say that's pretty substantial. Along with the gross receipt tax, very low property tax rates and very low income taxing easily refundable by the federal government.

They don't tax corporate income generated from out of state, they lack usury laws and have their own court system of chancery.

Your face lacks usury laws. And you're a bummer.

YOU lack usury laws. *nods*

Haha. But back to the original conversation.. whether or not you agree with the corporate friendly and somewhat sleezy appearing tax code, you'd be a fool not to call delaware home as the head of a large business or international conglomerate.

Edit: I don't think anyone is denying that Randy has lost money during his tenure here? Being frugal and financially responsible by respecting the dollar no matter how many you have seems sensible to me?

It's ludicrous that there are still people who believe that Randy is in it to make a fortune out of Villa.

You sheeple need to see the truth.

He's just a front man.

Doug still pulls the strings.

*nods knowingly.

Epic rantage. Also the release clause talk has been driving me to the point where I have had to refrain myself from posting. If I had done ... well I reckon me and Chuck Blazer would have had something in common.

That would be good.

Anyone think a bidding war could be imminent?

I reckon we'll get nine billion.

Now that the release clause has been triggered, I predict a ricochet induced avalanche resulting in leveraged bids in the quadrillion range. Hold on to yer holsters.

A takeover is defo off the cards, who would sell a fifth of the total asset value of the club if it was going ahead?

I think we'll see a total bidding war, Liverpool - oh, sorry, I mean "'The Mighty Reds YNWA'" - will drive the price higher and higher and we'll make an absolute fortune. It'll be the same with Ron Vlaar, too, we could easily drive a bidding war over him. It doesn't matter that he's not an Aston Villa player any more, either, we just will.

Still, who cares, that profiteering fucker Lerner will just syphon it off to Delaware.

*goggle eyed dim facial expression*

I heard - from David Dein, actually, who's a good mate of mine - that Kevin Bracewell is good mates with Dean Ikea, who owns the Ikea. He, Kevin Bracewell, reckons that Adrian Heath used to look after karp for one of the Rothschild dynasty (Nat, I think). Apparently Heath thinks that Remi Moses is signed up to TBAR under the username 'Takeover'. I'm not claiming to be ITK but you're not telling me that that doesn't mean something?

Don't be daft. Randy doesn't put money in his trousers in case he falls in the cut and drowns courtesy of the coinage.

As we are all seemingly in rant mode can I concur with the annoyance of using such terms as 'The Mighty Reds YNWA', Manure, Arse, Spuds, Chavski and many many more.
