Oh yes, I always have a look to see if I am in there without knowing about it, or if I recognise any of the names. A guy in Cheshire I had on the other side of one case went down for several years for stealing millions off a quadriplegic client and then claiming it was a "thank you present."

Mike Ashley has left the Newcastle board and seems to be distancing himself from them. Maybe he and Randy are thinking of doing a swap.

Going back to Judge John Deeds - Martin Shaw was born in Birmingham, not sure if he is a Villa fan, but if so, and he was in character as George Gently, then a potential episode for the new series  could be 'Gently with the Villains'.

He is only taking himself out of the limelight. The fans don't like him and have been threatening to stay away and not buy shirts. They were criticised for not trying in the cups last season, so McLaren comes in and says he wants to win something, Ashley steps out of the limelight, the fans are back onside, and the money keeps rolling in.

Martin Shaw certainly was a Villa fan back in the 80's but I think his support has somewhat waned over the years.  Iirc he said he also had a soft spot for Everton as he's mates with Bill Kenwright.

That was my thought. I'm also struggling to see how a person could apparently have an inside line to every law firm in the country.

Because I have a friend that works for that Said Law Firm.  At the minute, he hasn't found any information.

The Said law firm? Does that suggest a middle east consortium?
