We should ask all the local Chinese restaurants and take-aways for support to get Chinese owners.*

*One for the oldies who remember small heath and Papin.

Ha! I forgot about that!

Must be about 20 years ago now and still makes me laugh. Genius move by Karren.

One in a long line of publicity stunts from Sullivan and the Porn Brothers. The Maradona one was another classic. The best part was the fact that their pathetic deluded fan base fell for them hook line and sinker. Mind you they got their own back on the Pornsters when they tricked them into believing 40k Noses would turn up every week once they gained promotion to the PL.

Remember when they could phone a clubcall type number and get a free watch? Well free apart from the phone call cost about £30!

Yep, another classic. And when they took out a full page ad in the paper calling for sty dwellers to boycott supermarkets for daring to refuse to stock their soft porn rag newspaper.
Christ you could write a book about their antics at the Sty.

Let's hope the bidders are from the west.
The Chinese would be a scary proposition.

The Chinese? They're a great bunch of lads.

When the Mail huts around town had the "Blues sign Premier League star" headline on the advertising boards. It was Paul Furlong.

Ultimately unless the potential new owners are as rich as man city/chelsea...nothing will change for us...still be cannon fodder due to our lack of £

There are plenty of stops on the line between spending £200m per season and spending virtually nothing. Just like there are plenty of stops between winning the league and finishing in the bottom six every year.

Ultimately the most important thing isn't somebody coming and and giving us £100m for transfers, it for somebody to come in and not make such birdbrained decisions as those currently in charge have made over the last five years or so.

If they are Chinese it will be a lot easier to get flags made in the future.

When one of their supporters got Trading Standards onto them and Tom said that it wasn't fair because if Karren had a criminal record she wouldn't be able to visit Paul's family.

Were they reported for claiming to be a professional football club?

This was the cause.

Apparently at the next game an announcement was made for him to report to the nearest steward. At the mention of his name a lot of people looked round to see who it was that had grassed on Lady Brady. Not being daft, he waited a few minutes then quietly made his way to a chief steward, only to be told that there was no message and he wasn't wanted.

Remember they actually used to have the strapline 'the club that bears the city's name.'
