I have done a new poll.

WHERE ARE THE NEW OWNERS?

I went for Bob Warman's static caravan in Oswestry. If I formed a band I would name it Bob Warman's static caravan in Oswestry.

Where my season ticket was in the upper trinity, there was a group of blokes behind us who - as well as whining endlessly throughout the matches - used to chat to us at half time.

One of them occasionally wasn't there, so next match, we'd say "where were you last week, then?" and he used to explain to us how he had a static caravan near Oswestry and he'd been there. Lovely bloke, but every single time this happened, he'd seem to forget he'd already told us this and would explain to us again that he had a static caravan near Oswestry, and he'd been there.

It got to the point where, to make things easier and avoid the repeated explanation, we'd just say "You been in Oswestry?"

Strange how things like that stick in the mind.

He wasn't Bob Warman, though.

Did Bob Warman have it on a time-share with him then or something?

For the next poll can I suggest, under Spaghetti Junction.
Because that's not childish.

So apparently spurs are up for sale for a cool 1billion pounds. Are we still up for 150m?? Quite ridiculous difference in price if that is the case. I honestly cant see why nobody wants to buy us...

Where have you read that?  Seems a ridiculous number especially as I don't think they've quite got full planning permission for the development of their ground yet (and the associated bounty from becoming residential developers like Arsenal).

I heard that on the Beeb earlier - but they may have just been quoting from the story in the Mirror

The thing about this ridiculous Spurs valuation story is that if it is repeated enough times people will actually start to believe it (the valuation, I mean).  It's got to be win-win for Randy, though, because he can simply say to potential buyers of Aston Villa, "If tinpot Spurs are worth that amount, then Villa are worth..."

Maybe I am just bored of nothing happening in the most dullest (is that a word?) of ways, but right now I really don't care if we get taken over anytime soon, as long as we remain stable this season.
