As a manager at Norwich he never lost back-to-back games (at least before the Prem) and in his first season in the Prem he took Norwich, an attractrive to watch Norwich, to a comfortable mid-table finish. Suddenly at Villa something has changed. Is it him? Or outside influences? Is he trying too hard but facing overwhelming difficulties? Caring too much and tying himself up?
