must admit being an old fart I have no idea what that means either!

I'm the same mate

I was looking at some houses on right move recently and some of them had OIRO after the price,
I had no idea what that meant but thought it must be something simple it's just me being thick

Anyway turns out it means 'Offers in the region of'

Lambert is summoned to see Randy in the US; after a shit season; 4 days after he's announced the clubs for sale. There' s 3 scenarios

1. Lambert is dismissed
Last seasons performance is not good enough, thanks for your help - you're sacked.
New owners want their own man - he's sacked

2. Lambert quits by mutual agreement
Lambert is told there's no guarantees, new owner (if there is one) may want him or may not, but almost certainly not. He can hang around & oversee the transition or can go now with reputation intact - he quits.

3. Lambert stays
Lerner wants him to stay. Staying has other risks, club is in limbo with restricted funding for new signings, supporters don't want you, other jobs are available, reputation is not currently badly tarnished. There may be new owners, there may not. Against the odds he stays.

Doesn't take a lot on ITK to work out the probable outcome that Lambert quits / sacked and gets paid off.

4.) There was no meeting, Lambert never left the UK and is enjoying his holiday..

edit: Option 4 is no option. Thanks for the correction LV.

He definitely flew back from New York on Friday night/Sat morning. He was on my flight. As for the meetings, he looked depressed enough without me moaning at him and asking him questions.

Wow. Ok. Well I withdraw my option 4 then. He did at least leave the country. Cheers.

Just so I am sure. So basically you are saying either Lambert goes or stays?

Should I stay or should I go now?
Should I stay or should I go now?
If I go there will be trouble
And if I stay it will be double
So come on and let me know

This dilemma is pretty easy to resolve.  If he goes there will be trouble, if he stays it will be double.

Therefore he should go.  As bad as trouble is, it's only half as bad as double trouble.

But if new owners says he's mine, he could be here till the end of time.
