I'm tempted to start a 'Randy Lerner has been replaced by a clone created by HDE to be so hated that fans talk about the good old times of Herbert being in charge' thread and see if it gets as many posts as quickly.

I'm not sure I can be arsed to read it all. Someone tell me, is it just gags from us about them or is there something worth reading? I really can't be bothered to go on to that site given the likely membership.

A lot of stuff about moustaches, then a little bit of arguing about who is ganging up on whom, a little bit of reminiscing about takeover rumours from the past, then a load of curry puns.

Very little about the imaginary takeover.

It'll all blow over eventually and you'll look back and wonder in 10 years time, that imaginary takeover, did it happen or did I imagine it?

I think there will come a time when, similar to the "Doug not so bad" revisionism going on now whereby he's compared increasingly positively to Randy, we will be arguing the merits of rumoured new owners who never actually happened.

250 pages of back and forth, squabbling over whether the Comer brothers or Michael "Semi in Dorridge" Neville was the best almost-owner.

The Comers are still going, stronger than ever. A ruthless Mike Ashley type is probably what we need to get us to midtable mediocrity in the BPL.

I have no idea what he was banned for, or why we are still talking about it. If he got the chop he must have done something very silly as the Mods here are very lenient compared to most places.

I have no idea what he was banned for, or why we are still talking about it. If he got the chop he must have done something very silly as the Mods here are very lenient compared to most places.

He was banned for doing something absolutely prattish - and genuinely, quite offensive - and when challenged about it, denying it, despite us having masses of proof that it was absolutely true.

Anyway, he seems happy where he is now, I notice his every other post on there is something along the lines of "this is a lovely forum"
