Allegedly Red Bull have been in Leeds this week looking to buy. The Italian may well have had the word that he has to get rid to save the Football League face from allowing him to take them over.

Stopped by villa park today, no reason, other than passing Birmingham.
Had a stroll in the foul weather, some corporate thing or other going on - car parks jammed.

Felt like singing a pointless 'Lerner out' or something similar but resisted.

Probably just temporary but I'm tired of it all, sick of it.

The sooner the odd American leaves the better.

Now Salford United have owners with huge wealth and far greater football knowledge than Aston Villa.

Can we take the prepared off our badge and have "A factory of sadness" put on instead? I think it'd be more apt.

We can all really, REALLY relate to that fella.

Birmingham had factories when most other places were still living on acorns and using their wives to pull the family plough so the factory epithet would be very appropriate.

Someone needs to get down Villa Park and do our version of it. Some of the lines in that are brilliant.

"hey, see that Packers - Chargers game today? IT'S LIKE THEY'RE PLAYING A DIFFERENT SPORT TO US"

That is exactly how I feel when I see quite a number of other PL sides playing.

Sport? I thought ours was some kind of performance art piece via the medium of contemporary dance, an existential commentary on the futility of human existence.

It is an expressive form of dance. Only we carry it out with all the nimble limbed panache of Judy Murray on Strictly.
