We should all chip in and buy it, however we'd get through a lot of managers
This is a brilliant idea. I'll email BOA Merrill Lynch immediately with our offer of a flag and scarf for life.
Randy would have the satisfaction of knowing the club is safe in the hands of 40 odd thousand custodians.
The takeover could be complete in a couple of days as there would be no need for due diligence because we all know Aston Villa is priceless.
We have enough people on here with the expertise to run the club. the initial make up of the board and staff would be along these lines.
 Chairman. Mr. D. Woodhall.
CEO. Legion.
Manager. Ads.
Club Chaplain. Archbishop Cockthrottle.
Kit Design. Marshall.
DOF. We'd all take it in turns.
If you have any objections to any of the above names please make them known along with your alternative, similarly if you have any suggestions for other positions.
Important things that need to be done immediately are 1. Rename the the Doug Ellis stand the 26 May 1982 stand.
2.Make it a rule for away fans to kneel and offer thanks at the foot of the McGregor statue before they are admitted to the shrine.
3. Sir Alex, Jose Mourinho and 'arry Redknapp to sit in the Holte End when their clubs visit us.
4. The supporters of Aston Villa no longer to be referred to by the Club as customers.
5. Decent local ales on sale inside the ground.
6. The club to be run as a Utopian Cooperative with every supporter regardless of age, sex, race, religion, taste in music or political persuasion to have an equal say in the running of the club.

Point of Order, surely anyone who likes U2 shouldn't be allowed a season ticket as this shows levels of musical taste outside that allowed in normal society.

TBAR is going to explode. Eastie has apparently now let the cat out of the bag on Admin - it was him and other Founding Fathers all along. If two of them heard a rumour from the same two sources, it was posted under the Admin/God name. You just couldn't make that type of shit up. Brilliant.

Will there be a takeover at TBAR? Perhaps more like a coup d'etat...

However loved the quote about taking Admin for a chat in the rose garden.

He is providing some great entertainment during a quiet time though. Does anyone know where I can get a live feed for the TBAR takeover thread?

Finally, my personal phone call came through from the Villa. "Can I ask whether you're going to be renewing?". "You can, and no, I won't be. After 8 years, but more specifically the last 3/4 seasons it's been rubbish...".

Would a takeover change my mind? It'd have to be on the Man City scale if it was. I told them I'll just pick my Saturday 3pm games from now on.

I would like to propose that the cycle hangers at the back of the North Stand  be henceforth and forever known as The Eastie Memorial Cycle Hangers.

They must be the most underused cycle hangers anywhere. The most I've ever seen used is about 5.

Did they ask the second question or where you asking yourself the question?  I assume the latter.
