One of the members he sent them to forwarded it to us and it was of the "come to this new forum, too many wankers on here, mods all hitlers" variety.
He is clearly wrong there as some of you are as nice as Kim Jong-Un.

Oh affers, you do make me smile.

Wasn't it Padfield QC?

Yes.

I remember that. Always on after Crown Court when I off school sick. That and sodding Pigeon Street.

Yes.

From the Gruniad at the time:

"29 Jul 2006 - Deputy high court judge and Chelsea fan Nicholas Padfield QC has confirmed he is heading a consortium who may bid for Aston Villa."

Shudder.

I remember watching that Michael (was it Michael?) Neville interview after it emerged he wanted to buy us, and he was being interviewed in front of what looked like the sort of modest, semi detached house your gran might live in, and feeling a crushing sense of disappointment that this was not going to involve huge sums of money.

I remember that and feeling the same.  I also recall someone on here calling him a 'tyre kicker' which was spot on and still makes me laugh when I think about it.

She's an odd one, her. Sometimes she looks really attractive, then the next minute, horrible. See also Bjork.
Viz used to refer to them as "borderline boilers".
It's known as the visual Doppler effect based on how many pints the observer has consumed.

Steffi Graf?

My knowledge of German women fades rapidly after that.

To be fair setting eyes on her wouldn't encourage you to seek out any of her female compatriots.

If it was someone in the 'curry' business my bet would be Uncle Ben.

Fronted with his three other brothers Big, Gentle and Mr.

I was going to say Ray Ransom too *shudders at the thought of that one*

oh no...internet enemies..

Is there a help line I can call?

Phone this number: 0800 808 5602. It won't help you with the passive aggressives, but it will put a smile on your face.

Is it the The Bells Are Ringing customer service service desk?

No it's clampy's number

Thanks john. Have you been leaving him voice messages where you are just heavy breathing again?

There was also Ray Ranson.
I assume by now Ranson is residing in one of his own boxes?

from wiki on Ray Ranson, how prices have changed

In recent years, Ranson has taken an interest in taking over a football club. Ranson twice headed a consortium in unsuccessful attempt to purchase Aston Villa. The first bid £30 million in April 2004, and the second takeover attempt was valued at £45 million.[6] In April 2007, he then bid an offer of what is thought to be £90million to buy former club Manchester City.[7] However, on 30 May 2007, he pulled out of the proposed takeover bid of Manchester City after failing to come to an agreement with the then board.[8]
