Tony is also on the Chinese version of Twitter ( I presume he's been on it a while as he has thousands of followers) which suggests to me that he knows what he's doing.  I'm enjoying reading of his travels and his ideas for the Club.  As long as he keeps a thick skin and ignores mischievous journalists all should be good.

It's great to have someone running the club who is so obviously up for it and willing to engage with the fans. Especially after years of being run by Marcel Marceau.
But I'm afraid he's going to get a rude awakening when he finds out the level of bitterness and jealousy from St Andrex
and the ollbeyun. The more obsessed among them are going to make his life hell on twitter. Still, it will give him some idea of what to expect when we play them.

I can't imagine he would tell us certain players are staying if there is a chance of them going

There's a chance of any player leaving any club.

If Liverpool decide that Ayew is the next stop on their "pretty decent but not Champions League players" transfer tour and offer us £20m, then he'll be out of here before you can blink.

That doesn't make anybody involved bad people, but anybody who thinks that being told that there's no way that a player is leaving seriously should definitely steer clear of any magic bean salesmen.

Xia has said that Ayew and Amavi are going nowhere. Isn't it our duty as a loyal fan base and concerned consumer to hold him to that?

And how do we do that, exactly?

So Wolves will have zoomed past us within a decade cos their new owner is considerably more richer.

On the one hand we don't much about these buyers and their potential and on the other Wolves will be ahead of us in ten years time such is his crystal ball.

The truth with any billionaire in team sports is that they can't all win irrespective of their fortunes. Their investment has to be coupled with good appointments, sound judgment and ultimately a plan which they dedicate themselves to. We had more than enough money from Randy to arguably challenge for the title but it was squandered spectacularly.

Let's see how this all plays out. For me Xia has started well with his intent, but he's proven nothing yet.

The Sky bloke bases his argument on the old adage of it's better the devil you know.  We will just have to wait and see.

What did he know about Sheik Mansoor or Ablamovich before they came to England? Maybe Chelsea should have stuck with Ken Bates for example. They are all gambles initially until over time they reveal themselves to be good or bad deals.

I know, I was caught in a rare moment of optimism. Our recent experience with ex captain tells us otherwise but you can but hope. These magic beans you talk of sound interesting, where do I get them from?
