I don't think his personal wealth is the issue. The key will be the amount of investment he can bring in from external sources. Randy's personal wealth became an issue as he didn't want to sink any more into us in the latter years. External investors will want to see more for their money, so Dr X will have to be more judicious with it than Randy as in the early years.
