and the Mondaine Swiss railway clock watch, which is a design of timeless, minimalist beauty. Plus I like their mountains.

One of the best things about Switzerland?

Clarkson doesn't like the place. Something to do with punitive penalties for speeding.

on a positive note Swiss owners might have some leverage over snagging Embolo - now that would be good!

Say there are 50,000 of us who would be willing to stump up some cash to buy our football club back. That's £3,000 each to get to £150 million. It's a lot of money I know but at what point would you put some money in ?

put in £440 last time .  got about 40 quid back and ended up bottom of the league

Well Leeds supporters are looking to buy their club....

Surely a site like this might be a place to get an idea like this off the ground, get a couple of high-profile people on board like Mervyn and Prince Will to give it a bit of polish and see if Lerner would agree some terms to sell to the fans - perhaps say for a £100 million. I'm just interested at what point people would go, well sod it I would cough up some money to own a piece of an appreciating asset.... I say appreciating but then if we go down we'd all lose a fortune .....

You met Orson Welles? I'm impressed. Very.

I once met Steven Wells but then that's nothing to boast about.

Yes at lunch at the Capital Hotel. He was absolutely huge and had an appetite to match.  I was awe struck to be honest.

Wasn't the founder of The Red Cross Swiss?
I know that the origin of the Red Cross flag was born from the Swiss flag
