Really enjoyed watching Verstappen getting bullied and making a tit of himself today.

Lando Norris makes way too many mistakes to win a world title. Another one right there.

My fella watched the race at the Aston Martin factory today. All the visitors got free Lance Stroll caps…

No +1’s? Would have been a fun day out regardless of racing interest I reckon.

He was the +1, as a lad we know works there and his fiance didn't fancy it, so he got the invite instead.

I used to follow F1, but gave up when the Mercedes dominance started. I could handle the Red Bull dominance, because when I started watching they had one of only two British drivers on the grid and were a bit crap, so I followed them and Kimi, and Vettel from his debut and loan season.

My fella got to drive their simulator software, too. He did well, apparently. I don't think it was the full simulator, but was the software and simplified chair and controls.

I went to a supplier day at Williams back in 2012 which included a museum visit and then a Canyon bike day at Mercedes World. At the former I learnt that most of the Williams cars produced after Senna pegged it had a Senna commemoration on them somewhere, sometimes obvious and sometimes less so.

I would like to go on an F1 factory tour. I'll have to let our mate steal more of my beer when he visits.

I went years ago and loved the circuit, how you getting there by car? I was living in Germany at the time and stopped at the Nurburgring on the way to Spa and did a lap. It's about 1.5 hours away, have a great time.

Nothing certain yet! I fully expect tickets to be about £600 each at least.

Looking at hiring in Belgium and then driving west for some WWI memorials.

Went to Nurburgring in 2007 for the European GP with a few mates, camping, for the weekend. Previous night to setting off was spent getting absolutely hammered in Dusseldorf on altbier and arrived in a very sorry state.

Might have been the 2009 German GP actually. Just remembered we saw Boris Becker there, who was as wide as he was short.

Hope you get a bit of time to look around Ypres, Hooge crater, Vimy ridge, Menin Gate, Tyne Cot etc well worth the visit.
