You'll need to shop around for those shoes mate, they're out of stock pretty much everywhere!

I don't do cycling as I'm not married but if I did I'd probably wear one of these.

Putting it here but more for the Triathlon.

A couple of top triathletes were trying for a sub 7 hour Ironman with pacers etc. Dowsett was one of the cycling pacers for Joe Skipper (Would have been Brownlee but he was injured). Here is Dowsetts stats for the cycling leg. Flat course but 112miles at an average of 34mph......

That’s insane numbers. I’d be happy to pump out half that over 3 hours. Sheesh. Good result for Skipper even though Blummenthal beat him. Saw him interviewed and he seems to think he lost it on the swim.

I don't follow tri much but pretty sure Blummenfelt is known as a strong runner and normally wins on that section if not gapped significantly elsewhere. Would have been interesting if Brownlee hadn't injured beforehand.

No Cav in the 2022 TdF

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cycling/61953009

Quickstep might regret this.  Cav in good form has just won the British Nationals.  Jacobson is quick but does not have Cav's savvy in being in the right place at the right time.  Essential on the madcap Tour first week bunch sprints.

Some have mentioned that the Belgium Director of a Belgium Team might not want the record for the most ever Tour wins to be taken from a Belgium by someone on his team.

Lots of conspiracy theories in cycling!

Gary Imlach has been one of my favourite sports presenters since the days of the NFL on Channel 4.

He continues to be great on ITV's TdF coverage. Love his sarcastic introductions/links

Channel 4 used to get some really good people hosting their sports stuff. James Richardson was great on the Italian Football show.

He's some engine and not exactly built like a long distance triathlete like say a Frodeno, Lange or Macca.
Brownlee has a long standing issue following a viral infection rather than an injury as such, he had it before Oceanside in April and it affected him on the run, he then bailed out of the world champs and then the Sub 7 project.

They also had Jonathan King presenting overnight sports-entertainment, but we'd best gloss over that :)
